Behind the Scenes: Project MRKT Show

Going to Project MRKT in New York City.

The Behind the Scenes series takes you to trade shows and gives you interviews with brand leaders to see why some people do what they do and where the industry is going.

Project MRKT show was on January 20th and was an amazing show that hosted many brands both large and small. We dropped by to take a peak and check out some of our favorite brands. Take a look!

Bellroy

Bellroy was one of our first partners and continue to be a great one at that. For this year they are taking their award-winning bags and adding a spin on their designs. Instead of the singular colorways, they are changing it up by adding multiple colors to the lineup. It allows more flexibility to match with outfits and gives it a younger look. We also peeked at a new collaboration with Clae and Bellroy. We saw sneakers, wallet and keys holder in a dark beige that looks great.

Kynsho

Our friend at Kynsho has been creating quality cowls with an innovative design twist. Instead of tossing it over your shoulders, buttons are made to be a part of the overall design. These buttons allow for easy closure of the cowl and keep it from flying all over the place. The final look after buttoning up makes it look like a very sleek bandana scarf hybrid. The materials come in a wool blend to keep your neck warm in the winter without the annoying itch.

Alchemy Equipment

Although we do not offer Alchemy Equipment gear on our shop (yet 😉), we dropped by to check out their newest collaboration with Carryology. The bag is a great size, comfortable on your back and a beautiful Multicam print and leather cowhide bottom. One of our favorite collaborations from Carryology since. Be sure to check it out when you can.

These are great products from awesome companies. Are you excited about what's coming in the future?
